Most labs ordered by our doctors can be drawn by our clinical staff during lab hours. (M-F 8 am to 4 pm) However, occasionally, infants need blood drawn by a phlebotomist at WakeMed. Blood draws are no longer being done at WakeMed Cary Hospital. Only the WakeMed Healthplex in Apex, the WakeMed Lab on Oberlin Road, WakeMed Brier Creek, and WakeMed North Hospital can draw blood on infants of all ages.
