When Should You Choose a Pediatrician?
We recommend selecting y our pediatrician during your third trimester. Call our office (919) 460-0993 to register for one of our Newborn Family Tours. Tours are held two times per month. This ensures:
- A smooth transition home from the hospital
- Timely scheduling oof your baby’s first visit
- Peace of mind knowing who to call with questions
Our providers follow recommendations from the American Academy of Pediatrics to ensure your newborn receives the highest standard of care from day one.

What to Expect as a New Parent
Choosing Cornerstone Pediatrics means. you will have guidance and supprt every step of the way:
- Newborn visits scheduled shortly after hospital discharge. At the advisement of the hospital team.
- Help with feeding, sleep, and early develpment
- Access to a lactation consultant for breastfeeding support

- Confirm Your Insurance – review our accepted Insurance plans to ensure we are in network.
- Schedule a Newborn Family Tour – Meet our team, learn about our approach to care, and feel confident in your choice
- Plan for Your Baby’s First Visit – once. your baby is born and ready for discharge from the hospital, we will help you schedule your first appointment quickly and ensure you have everything you need.
