Ellen Ghodke was born and raised in Southern Pines, North Carolina. She completed her undergraduate degree at UNC and then worked as a high school teacher for Teach for America in Oakland, California before starting medical school.
She comes to Cornerstone after completing medical school and pediatrics residency at UNC Chapel Hill. She is a Tarheel through and through!
Ellen is particularly interested in newborn care and adolescent mental health. Ellen is the youngest of four siblings, so she loves caring for families with multiple children!
Ellen lives in Chapel Hill with her husband who is completing his ENT residency at UNC and their daughter, Lena. Ellen enjoys traveling, reading, riding her peloton, and spending time with her family.
