About:
Dr. Elkins-Williams was born and grew up in Winston-Salem, NC. She graduated with a degree in Biogenetics from Dartmouth College and then attended medical school at UNC School of Medicine. She completed her pediatric residency at UNC-Chapel Hill. She lives in Chapel Hill with her husband, 2 sons, and daughter. Her husband is a burn surgery fellow at UNC.
